What makes Fuji X cameras different and "preferable" for you?

Excluding the X100 and X100s, which are in a concept of their own.

The people had been "upgrading" to FF with D600s and Canon 6Ds and forsaking their APS-C sensors.

Then Fuji came with its APS-C sensors and not-so-small lenses. I mean, an XT1 mounted with a 35mm 1.4 is not so much smaller than a D7k/60D mounted with a 35mm prime. An XE2 mounted with a 10-24 is not much smaller than an equivalent DSLR setup.

But is it the size, looks, files, feels that attracts you to the X's? Or what else? Colors? JPEGs? Technology?
