Re: what's 3-D?

Thanks. Honestly, I really like Foveon images and I appreciate the pixel level sharpness that can be found, BUT, I continue to be unhappy with the "3D" type phrase or language sometimes used to describe the images. What is it supposed to mean? One aspect of why the Foveon images *may* look better than Bayer is that all colors are equally well resolved. Bayer sensors don't do that.

But the q seems to have changed that somewhat. Still, the images look great and, if anything, more "natural" (if that's a good thing) compared to the M.

However the equal and complete color resolution may still be available in low res mode for the q.
