Hawaii trip with new RX100 III - high hopes!
I recently sold my basically new A6000 to fund an RX100 III. I always liked the RX100 but really like a viewfinder. In addition, I 1) don't like changing lenses and 2) don't want to drop the $$ required for the better performing lenses. After a couple of years of photography I had to come to grips with the fact that I'm more a snap-shooter than anything. I always have my NEX 3N if I want to play with lenses including a series of Canon FD legacy lenses.
Having said that, I'll be landing on Oahu in about 4 hours and we'll see if my choice was right since the RX100 III is the only camera I brought. All tucked away in a side pocket of my messenger bag!
