RX100 Mk iii - Do you have to adjust the EVF diopter every time you open it?

I am considering an RX100 Mk 3.  There is a customer review on Amazon that says every time you open the EVF you have to re-adjust the diopter or the image in the EVF will be out of focus.  Is that true?  Every camera I have ever owned retained the diopter adjustment setting unless you intentionally changed it (or accidentally moved the adjustment dial/lever).

I haven't seen this mentioned in this forum, or in reviews.  If it were true I would think it would have been brought up by now, given that it would be a major inconvenience.
