Minolta XG-M 35mm: how to use

I just picked up an old Minolta XG-M 35mm camera. Can someone tell me how to use this camera?

I would like to know how I can open the back where I load the film. And how do I wind and take out the finished film?

I would like to know if the left bottom dial is for ISO. I thought with film cameras / SLRs the ISO was controlled through which film I used.

I also like to know if I plug in a flash to the hot shoe at the top whether it will sync with the shutter. Can someone tell me how the shutter will work with this camera?

Finally any tips for using this camera?
