Try renting/ borrowing a Voigtlander and see if that improves things enough without resorting to external lighting. The Voigts suck up light. I need an ND filter even during dawn/ dusk when wide open!

Also,  if you're not already doing so,  use the slowest framerate (24fps) which allows you to use a slower shutter speed and still have pleasing motion blur.  1/50 is "ideal"  but in low light you may be able to get away with less if there isn't much motion being filmed.
