6D Milky Way panorama

I traveled out to Roma in rural QLD (Australia); this location was 30km out of town in a really quiet spot. This was stitched from around 20 frames shot with the 6D and the 17-40mm - the stars at ISO 3200, f/4, 30 seconds and the windmill at ISO 400, f/8 and light-painted with a large flashlight.

Something unique to the southern hemisphere is the Large Magellanic Cloud (lower right hand side); another galaxy. I had no idea it could be captured with a camera until this.

It's a nice big image, I just had it printed on canvas at 40x20 inches.
