D810 Tips

What tips do you have for the use of the D810? I'll start with a few, some gleaned from other posts here:

1- Keep High ISO NR off when shooting low ISO. Otherwise some unnecessary NR will be applied even to ISO 64 files. (I've been told this here, but have not tested it.)

2- Shutter speeds below 1/60th cannot be used with MF lenses, even if your custom settings allow it (for AF lenses). I learned this the hard way.

3- Set the Movie button to control ISO. (D800/e also.)

4- Be sure to close the OVF when shooting in Live View, to prevent stray light from entering, and use Mirror Up and EFC with a remote trigger to avoid shake.
