Thanks so much for the guidance on the Image Stabilization quest for using Panasonic 14-42 II on my EPM2. That lens seems just made for the EPM2, the OIS works great. It even looks so good mounted to the camera. I am a happy camper.

Good to hear. The OIS makes total sense if you use the excellent Panasonic 45-150mm as well, the OIS steady live view at 150mm does help a lot.

(For the lurkers - Olympus can enable unswitched OIS with only these bodies so far: E-P5, E-PL5/PL6, E-PM2, E-M1/M10)

Anyway, no need for thanks, we are just doing our job, and doing exactly what the DPReview forums were designed for, to share information and help each other with this new-fangled digital camera gear.

When I first dived in here (Olympus forum first I think) in 2002(?) it was in the first few months that I learned more about photography in practical terms than I had in the previous 40 years or so. Speedy shared information helps us all improve and also hopefully make the right decisions for purchase.

To help "save" some of the information flowing past my eyes I started my ratty web pages, early on also Ricoh and Casio but now deleted, currently Oly M4/3 pages and some other random often out of date stuff http://homepages.ihug.com.au/~parsog/photo/index.html

Regards.... Guy
