Nice! I have the D550, looks  close to your result.

I love your second picture, well done! The 2 others, a bit mixed feeling, people in background a bit disturbing, and Bokeh could be a bit better, to make the subject "pop out " more.

I did like you at the start, using the zoom capacity of your lens. Result with the standard lens are great.  But I use now for the kind of pictures you are showing here a 50 mm lens 1.4.  Results for portraits and people are spectacular better.  Also for intimate lightening, but blur and detail is better. Just not want that lens always open completely. Even at less opening, you benefit from the better glass, and you get Bokeh enough.

I bought now  Sony RX 100 M 3, that I will use for anything but portraits.  So as it is also good for landscaping and regular shooting, I now will not have to carry the big lens and just put on the 50 mm on for portraits.  Just to say, try with different lenses then the standard one, and this camera will still get better.
