I use Dual-ISO from MagicLantern, to get better dynamic range. It costs a significant amount of resolution to match the DR of the Sony sensor. So with my 6d, I have about 14 EV DR at about 10 - 12 mpx, rather than 36 mpx at 14 EV DR.

I stress that I have always been a Canon user and have never used either of the other two makes.
