Reread my post. I said the ultimate for the camera and lens. This was for my specific short term testing. Nothing about the "ultimate" lens for the D810. You didn't mention the Zeiss Otus which is on my wish list.

Added: Not hand holding the camera still enough will degrade any of the listed lenses. And that was what I was posting about.
