x100 vs x-a1 ?

I had both and I disagree. Everything about the X100 is more enjoyable to use than the XA1/27. The XA1 is more likely to exhibit camera shake because you don't brace it against your head when shooting which is very important in low light.

I might agree with a fixed LCD but you can hold the X-A1 firmly against your belly to eliminate shake when framing with the tilting LCD. At this height, there is actually less tendency to sway that when holding the camera up against your face so it is actually MORE stable. Heck, with a flip out LCD, you can jam the camera firmly against a wall or post at any height for stability and still get a good view of the LCD viewfinder.

That's all fine and good if you primarily shoot with your camera at your belly or jammed against something.
