X-A1 with 27mm is way better than X100, except for that viewfinder

I had both and I disagree. Everything about the X100 is more enjoyable to use than the XA1/27. The XA1 is more likely to exhibit camera shake because you don't brace it against your head when shooting which is very important in low light.

But to sum up the main handling differences, the X100 is near silent, has dedicated dials, high-speed flash sync, and a hybrid viewfinder, while the XA1/27mm is smaller (but its actually thicker), has a larger, tilting LCD, scene modes, and can swap lenses. Choose what is more important.

Unless you can find the bundle or combo used, the X100 is probably less expensive than the XA1/27mm combo.
