Wild(er) birds at the swamp (Bigma)

I'm lucky to have a 'little hunka heaven' not too far from home that no one seems to know or care about...except the critters. It's become one of  my favorite bird-snapping places. All the discussion about the Bigma has inspired me to continue my practice and technique with it. More and more I'm liking the results (thanks to those who suggest bumping aperture up).

Here's a few from the swamp...all w/ K5II and Bigma (50-500mm w/ OS, though I'm only now starting to experiment with that feature). All are 500 mm and pretty heavy crops.

Gray Catbird: 1/1250 sec.; f/6.3; ISO 400

Cedar Waxwing: 1/1250 sec.; f/6.3; ISO 400

Eastern Bluebird: 1/800 sec.; f/7.1; ISO 400

Downy woodpecker: 1/1000 sec; f/7.1; ISO 400

Rose-breasted Grosbeak: 1/1000 sec.; f/7.1; ISO 400

Song Sparrow (I think): 1/400 sec.; f/9; ISO 400
