A6000 - Lens suggestions for bird and wildlife photography

Hi Everyone,

Am new to photography, very much an amateur with so much interest towards wildlife/bird photography.
Last year i happened to use my cousins NEX6 and was very impressed by it size.

I waited for a long time to get hold of my A6000 after lengthy debate on whether to buy a D5300 or A6000.

now i have the kit lens, 55-210. Am looking for some expert opinion on what lens would be the complement A6000 for wildlife/bird photography to capture them up close

How would the lens like Tamron 150-600 mm work on A6000, I read that the lens doesnt have VC for Sony .

Any other suggestions please along with best possible adapter.

Budget is around $1000

Am i good with A6000 + adapter + Lens for wildlife photography or should i think of going towards Nikon Camera's like D7100 + Lens ?

Note - I do a very post processing, not too much.

Sony a6000
