Nice to see your adapter arrived.

Yes, I'm very Lucky now with this robust X-Mount/F-Mount Metal Adapter.

Will be interesting to see you images and hear what you think about using your lenses on the "X" cam.

There is no difference in the IQ, always Sharp and good Details in the Photos.
Here two Photos taken with my 35mm F/1.4 WalimeX pro Lens @ F/8 on both Cameras.

That's a strange couple there, the "tiny" A1 and the "giant" Tamron zoom

Yes the Lens looks Giant compared to the X-A1.
The Surprising is, the bigger and longer Lenses are more comfortable to hold with the Hand.

Sure my 28mm F/2.8 Nikon is a Lightweight compared to the 14/35/85mm Samyang Lenses.
But the long 35mm F/1.4 and my 500mm F/8 Mirror feels good in the Hand.

The next Things on my Wish List for the X-A1 are:

• A Thumbrest from Lensmate.
• A X-Mount to F-Mount Adapter with a Tri-Pod Screw Thread.

The 28mm F/2.8D Nikon AF Lens.

And my loved WalimeX pro Prime.

At some point I did also consider the A1,

Buy !

Really I mean this, because the cheap 28mm F/2.8D Nikon AF Lens is very good on the X-A1 full HD Video Mode.
I have make some Test Videos from Tree/Leaves and You can see all Details in this Video.

And the Shutter from the X-A1 is quiet compared to the FinePix S5 Pro.

...the S5 is still a much better camera than I am a photographer.

I Think Your Photos here looks more as good.
For the Photo-Resolution the Details looks perfect for me.
