Will these lenses be sufficient on the Canon 70D?

Hi, first time using this site. Usually use Yahoo Answers but recently the people that respond prefer to be keyboard warriors and put people down rather than actually help and just answer the question.

I'm thinking about getting a Canon 70D. I'm new to photography but have done a lot of video stuff on a Sony Nex-5. (I know they're both photo cameras and not great for video, i should just get a camcorder blah blah blah. I had a camcorder and prefer the look and feel of these, and a lot of people have recommended and praised the 70D for it's video feature.)

I was originally thinking of getting a 6D, but would only be able to afford one lens. However if i go with the 70D, I could get a few. I've listed below the potential ones I'd get. Could you please tell me whether some would be pointless, some are awful, there are better/cheaper ones out there? Thanks

- Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM Lens
- Canon EF 50 mm f/1.8 II Lens
- Sigma 10-20mm f4-5.6 EX DC HSM

and one of :
- Canon EF 75-300mm f/4.0-5.6 III Lens
- Canon EF 70-300mm f/4.0-5.6 IS USM Lens
- if im looking to save money for one of the other lenses, should i go for the much cheaper option of the two? I know this is a stupid question, but is the cheaper lens any good? I don't want to spend the money for it to be useless, where as if i save a bit more I could get the better one (I am a student after all).

Are any of the above lenses pointless to have? Will the 10-20mm work well seeing as though the 70D is crop sensor?

Are there any cheaper options for similar lenses out there that do a similar/better job?

Thanks in advance!

P.S. For both video and photography
