Canon Powershot SX50 HS and Rode Video Microphone
I have a Canon Powershot SX50 HS... I usually make short videos using the same.. But the audio quality is very bad... I came across Rode Video Mic GO On-Camera Microphone(3.5mm output jack). It is a shotgun mic which can be inserted on hotshoe of camera.. I wanted to know if it will work with my Camera. There is a Mini-B plug on the camera side. The jack is a combined USB/AV port used for both data transfer and video/stereo audio output. There's a Mini HDMI (Type C) port for high-def output, and a remote jack for an optional RS-60E3 wired remote. Is there any adapter or anything which can help me record audio externally from the shotgun mic? Any adapter for Mini-B or anything? Thanks in advance.
