F/2 is never equivalent to F/4 unless you change shutter speed or ISO. All I ask is that you add which you want changed. I suppose you can change the shutter speed and ISO together, if you are a compromising type.

If you change ISO, you will get an equivalent photo, so prized. If you change shutter speed, you will not get an equivalent photo that you may like better. As I suppose there would be no reason to think that anyone will like one equivalent photo over the other, after all they are equivalent.

And please, let's stop saying Fiat and Ferrari are equivalent because they are both going at 60 mph.

And, stop saying equivalent of; Fiat 4th gear is equivalent to Ferrari 3rd gear, because both are going at 60 mph.

If you don't see the gear equivalence to the equivalence of aperture, it's equivalent to some people seeing the humor and some that do not, me thinks.
