I have a DP2M and a DP2Q and I see more blotches in the M. Especially if you bump ISO a bit, the Q is cleaner in a direct comparison. With a new model it's easy to look harder for flaws, I've done my share of that when the M arrived as well Both are great cameras but with distinct personalities.
