Re: Why more than 50 replies to this crap?!

I fail to understand this line that somehow the DPQ requires some special expertise to use. It's a basic camera by modern standards and no more or difficult to use than any other camera. I use mine in A mode and all I have to do is dial an aperture, point and shoot. How much more simple could it be?

The frustration with the camera is that it has no viewfinder, just a screen you can't see except in the dark, and the exposure system sometime seems to take a life of its own coupled with the fact that it's so slow that you can't just shoot---review---check--adjust---reshoot because it takes too long and will drive you nuts.  It's a bit like film cameras all over again, you have to trust the camera or your judgement more than with other digitals and hope you'll get something usable. Doable but annoying, frustrating and spoils the shoot experience.
