It promised thuner for today and I was wondering how I could get photos of it? The thing is that it flashes only for a moment and if I just keep taking photos it usually happens that if flashes when I am not taking photo. So I wanted to use 30 sec exposure but the problem is that when thunder occurs during the day time, even if I use iso 100 and f/36 then I still cant have quite long exporures. In fact I just wanted to see how long exposure I can get, but in reality I would like to stay around f/8 or f/11 for best quality. Is there any other tricks to gether thunder bolts?

The work-around are HD1080 p videos, and select frames from that.
