I don't like the lens. The fact that you have to turn the camera on then rotate the lens to extend it to shoot is one step too many.

Errrr, wrong lens - this one does `t need extending , its the 12-32 and the Olys which need that

What a waste of time. Its slow at f3.5 on its widest setting.

what do you expect for £100 - F2.8-4 ?, a used Fuji 18-55 F2.8-4 goes for 3X the price, Yep, I`d like a cheaper than Pro 14-50 F2.8-4 at £300 for M43 too but it ain`t happenin'

Not exactly made for night shots or interiors or creating shallow depth of field.

no, that's why primes and Pro zooms were invented, you sound like the guy who complained that the Audi A1 was useless on the track because it wouldn`t do a standing quarter in 6 seconds or hit 180Mph - that`s what the R8 is for .

So other than its small size and zoom capability its rather useless. And frankly as one can clearly read on the forum there are many people unhappy with the build quality and the fact the lens falls apart easily.

Nope, that`s the 12-32 again - we`re discussing the 14-42-HD here
