Taken yesterday, this beehouse photo is shot from 1 metre/40 inches away, so that the flash can shine right down the 9mm bamboo holes to the end, that's 135mm/5.3" deep.

Note the one completed mud door nest (completed weeks ago), the unfinished and abandoned mud door nest (yellow pollen), the several unfinished Leafcutter Bee nests at various depths down holes, the 3 Leafcutter Bees working down holes, the Leafcutter wrestling with its rose leaf to complete a leaf door nest, the finished leaf door nests, the way the Leafcutters have populated the nest from right to left (more sun shining into the right hand side?), the unknown insect or spider deep down at the end of the inter-tube space at top left, the empty tubes still vacant.

Nearby, there is a rose bush, which is self-explanatory:
