I could but I don't want to have to deal with purple blotches. I know because I used to own an SD15, worst camera I ever owned.

I think it's telling that you say the SD15 is the worst camera you've ever owned, when there are a few Sigma shooters that say the SD15 is the best camera they've ever owned. Interesting, how polarizing Foveon sensor cameras can be, isn't it?

No, they probably mean SD15 is the best Sigma camera they've ever owned. Any Bayer camera is better operationally, just not in final results.

Actually, many "Bayer" cameras have much smaller buffers, so the SD15 can go and go. You can shoot 20 raw photos with the SD15, before the buffer is full. Even my Canon 5 D couldn't do that (only about 15). Many new cameras have even smaller buffers than the 5 D had. The Nikon D7100 only has a 7 frame buffer. Pathetic.

I can see how some people would think the SD15 is the worst camera they've ever used, but isn't it the image quality that people really want? I love my SD14. In fact, though my Sony A55 was the best camera I had ever owned, I sold it and kept the SD14 . . . and the SD15 is better than the SD14 in many ways. It's probably the next Sigma camera I will buy.
