Looked at one and considered one but short of cash for the next four months until I retire.

Nice camera but to ME is entry level with an auto focus party trick. (nothing wrong with its IQ).

I have sold off a few lenses lately but am still keeping some of my best manual focus lenses.

Last few years......Pentax KX five years ago (still have it fired it up yesterday......IQ is still up there with the GX7 but it has an OVF which I now find a bit "old"and liveview is limited as is movie mode....better IBIS though and catch in focus is a winner for me with my old mf lenses ....GX7 has more features I like otherwise).

A) Got a Pentax Q for a fun experiment.....the camera died early...still turns on but that is about it....would love to replace it but low priority now.

B) Early 2013 got an Oly E-Pl2 ...nice camera but a bit limited but sold me on M4/3.....a great party camera .....gave it to my Nieces late last year....when I got the GX7

C) GX7 ....my current m4/3 lovely camera, lots of features but hate the grip and a lot of the features seem half done to me.

D) A7....got this a few days after the GX7 ...always wanted a FF mirrorless camera to take good manual focus lenses.......the APSC crop mode in the A7 is making me seriously consider if I need a APSC camera any more.

I still have some old point and shoots and film cameras and an old Nikon D50 ....have trashed a few DSLRs recently.

I almost certainly will get a A7S and maybe a LX8 ......might sell or give away the GX7 ....might now pass on the A6000 and see what Sony has next year or the one after. Would still want a m4/3 camera but really want a GX# with a mic input and video stabilization and a bit better low light ability.

Gotta get rid of many of the older cameras....as I have been some of the lenses.
