Regarding the 5D3, no, it's not perfect, but it's very good! My main criticisms so far are:

- It's completely rubbish for manual focusing, and doesn't permit changing the focusing screen to one which is better for manual focusing.

- It has some AF points which it openly acknowledges are rubbish compared to others in the same array - what's the point of that??

- It recognises my 50L when I attach it, but fails to compensate for the 50L's curved focus field. The feature of the lens is consistent and predictable, so the 5D3 should know that when I select a peripheral AF point, it should correct the AF accordingly.

So you think that every 50L has exactly the same curved field? Likely not.
