Very strange rational you say your A6000 can autofocus of EV0 while the GX7 goes to EV-4 yet yet you say in low light it is the GX7 that stays home? Typo?

No I don't have an A6000.

I have a full frame A7 and a GX7.

The A7 with fast manual focus lenses (Canon FD L 24 1.4 and FD L 85 1.2) I MUCH prefer to use in low light than any AF camera I have used....and the FF A7 is a great low light camera.....the m4/3 GX7 is not (it is ok but my old Pentax KX is still a bit better).

There is a lot more to a camera than having EV -4......AF works only to EV 0 with the A7 but it still seems to hunt less than the GX7 in low light (when both are still working).

The A7 focus peaking and EVF are just much better (for me) than the GX7 version of each as well.

I want an A7S though because it has better low light sensitivity than the A7, has the same lovely EVF as the A7 AND has AF to EV -4.....only because I am considering a fast lens to replace my sold FD L 50 1.2.....maybe another of the same or a manual focus Mitakon 50 f0.95 but maybe a AF Sony 55 1.8.

The GX7 is better for macro and some tele stuff and street stuff if a silent shutter is needed (A7S will cover that too though).
