Another RX-100 III and A6000 16-50 compared now @ 50mm Equivalent

So I performed a comparison today between my RX100 III and A6000 16-50. I performed these tests on a tripod using a timer for shutter release. Single focus point. All ISO 100. All zoned average metering. Both were processed equally in Lightroom.

I have a stellar copy of the 16-50. My last one belonging to my NEX-7 wasn't.

I forgot to label which crops were from corners or edges. But I'm sure you can figure out which ones.

I wanted to include an array of aperture settings for those more interested in equating the DOF more than outright aperture setting.

They're both great lenses. The RX100 III better on the corners. The A6000 better in shadowy areas. The RX100 III brighter. The A6000 better DOF control.

See my 24mm equivalent test at the following thread;
