Why bother. I can take a hand held pano with my SD15 in a few seconds that is better than any pano camera on the market. And the "film" is free.

the only pano camera worth buying is the Seitz 617 digital, but you need to win the lottery first.

there is difference though between stitched images and flat-field images; the former need software correction to make it look like the latter.

I use my DP2M to make nice panos. Here is a very ordinary pano done with the DP2M; It would work better with a longer lens.

reshot it this morning (see below); the point about focal length remains important. It's still too wide Will reshoot with my SD15 or DP2M in vertical mode and crop more. It's not unusual for me to go back to the same location until I get it right.
