DoF is a fixed property of a lens at a given aperture, so not sure exactly what you are curious about with the DoF.

I thought I would see greater depth of field in focus at f7.1 & f8, since it's often suggested that MFT & APS-C sensors can't do thin depth of field. However, the E-PM2 shot, at f5.6, also has a pretty slim view in focus so I'm good there. Is the "width" on the infocus band smaller as you get closer to the camera & larger as you get further away. In other words, f8 leaves much of the shrub out of focus but will be more than adequate to have all the distant mountains in focus.
