How lucky are you to be able to view one of the finest ever in this field.

Some may beg to differ.  He was stronger in leg than in eye, in eye than in mind.

Perhaps my understanding of his work is deficient, but that is how I read him.  He is no hero of mine.

I am extremely jealous.

Ps, while you are there could you please take note of how many of winogrands shots were taken with a long FL lens, say over 50mm.

I bet I can guess there may be none.

Each artist, and each photo has to be judged on its own merits. 
I suspect that few, if any, street photographers took more lousy film street photos than Gary Winogrand.  I suspect he would agree.
