Re: From a Sony guy

I am a Sony/Minolta-User since 2001 but recently I got tired of taking my A77 everywhere, so last year I picked up a Nex5r with which I never really grew warm with. So this year I decided to drop the NEX and went with an GX7. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!

The GX7 is so well designed. Its highly customizable but still easy to use at the same time. And the best is, I really don't notice a real difference in picture quality between the A77, Nex5r and GX7. The A6000 itself sounds like a nice camera, but E-Mount is still lacking lenses and existing lenses are quite big compared to m43. I also dont like the 16:9-Screen of the A6000 and miss a touchscreen and the electronic shutter. The only advantage of the A6000 is the better viewfinder.

I came to the conclusion, that for me, APS-C is not anymore up to date. I would go m43 if I want small bodys and lenses or FF for highest quality in low light. In good light conditions I don't even see much reason to go FF except if I really need a small DOF.
