Fujifilm XP underwater camera not taking pictures
My father-in-law has a Fujifilm XP underwater camera. Recently the door to the battery slot closed but did not lock so the camera pretty much filled with water as the problem was not discovered quickly.
Through several methods he has managed to dry the camera out and one problem to the next it seems to be coming around but there is a snag.
Currently the camera is only taking completely black pictures and video. It acts like the shutter is closed or not opening when the shutter release is pressed. I took a picture while looking in the lens and didn't see anything move.
I would think maybe the things holding the shutter might be broken if this was the result of a fall but this is just due to water in the camera so I don't quite understand.
Whether you think you can or you think you can't, your right!
I'm like the Grinch, I hate all the noise, noise, noise!
