Quattro likely replaces panoramic cameras

I will need to test this further when the try/before/buy Quattro arrives next week, but a test of the mansion shot I rescued the correction sections to zero, saved as a double sized tiff, then cropped a horizontal section out in a 3:1 ratio and then printed a small section of the center tower at about 18 inch height and I must say that overall this looks better than performing the same procedure on a dp3m file (I have the dp2m). Of course next week I will shoot the same scenes with both cameras and redo the test. But what I see so far is quite impressive even though I'm concerned about the supposed lessening of micro detail with the Quattro. But 12x36 inch prints from the Quattro is no problem. How well it can do 15x45 or even 16x48 remains to be tested.
Note: this is cropping, not stitching images together. This may no longer be necessary if you can believe it. I said may be. I will test.
