Travel tripod question

I'm looking to pick-up a light-weight tripod for travel purposes. I need something which will fit in a day tripping backup. So, I've been looking at tripods which fold-up to under 16" in length (with the ballhead).

I've been focusing in on two models:

  1. Benro A1692TB0 Travel Angel II
  2. Mefoto Roadtrip

I understand that the Mefoto is made by Benro.  These two tripods look very similar. But, the specs are quite the same.  The Benro is slightly more expensive at my local store.  I plan to use this while hiking with a Nikon D90 and low-weight lenses (e.g. 18-105mm or 35mm prime).

Are there differences between these two tripods which would be worth considering?
