Lens question: Sigma 75-250mm
I have a NEX-6, and didn't want to pony up $300 for the Sony zoom lens because I'll just be using it for a trip to Yellowstone in a couple days. Instead, I had bought my camera used and it came with a konica 50mm lens and konica to NEX adapter, so I went on ebay and found a Sigma for kotica lens for really cheap. Got it today, and for $20 I'm astounded at the quality. One question I have is about a piece on the lens, it almost looks like an "attached" lens hood. It's at the very end of the lens, and it slides up and down wherever gravity will take it. Is there any way to take it off or screw it in? Thanks, and if theres a proper name for it and you have no idea what I'm talking about, I'll put a picture up
