Gear Dilemma!!! Juggling crop sensor and ff gear together

I'm an event photographer who mainly works with Sweet 16's, bar mitzvahs etc... I have been using a Canon 7d coupled with a sigma 17-70 OS as my primary for the last few years and had a 5dc with sigma 24-70 as backup . I got a 6d with a 24-105 hoping to make it my primary and slip the 7d to backup... Well, the 6d is certainly awesome, but i find it just isn't fast enough for events. The af is too slow even though it gives me great pics, which has given me a new appreciation for the 7d.

I like the 17-70 but it's a little soft at 17mm. I am selling the sigma 24-70 b/c it is way too soft open for this level of work and the lens is difficult to use. I like the way the 24-105 renders images, but find images darker than those taken with the 2.8. Here are my thoughts...

1. Stick with the 24-105 for now and learn to love it.
2. Get the 17-40 to compliment the 24-105 and use to replace the 17-70 on the 7d
3. Get the tamrom 24-70 vc 2.8 and the canon 17-40
4. Get the sigma 18-35 1.8 art for the. 7d

I also have a full contingent of primes... 28 1.8, 50 1.4c 50 2.5 macro, 85 1.8 and sigma 70-200

My 580exii's are my life-blood for events and usually do natural light shots for artistic effect only.

Would love any advice you may have.
