Does anyone know what the fix is for sigma 150-500 AF
I have read a lot of accounts of the sigma 150-500 5-6.3 OS having issues with a "stuck" AF, being sent off for repair. Does anyone know what the repair entails, as I have purchased a lens which has this problem (probably not helped by delivery "issues" which included breaking the front element off!), and I'm keen to try and fix it myself.
I am comfortable taking a lens apart and have previously brought a Nikon 300 f4 back to life, although that was a much simpler AF system
I have read something about the AF/M switch itself being part of the problem, any more information that's out there I'd be very glad to see. Especially how to disassemble the lens!
Thanks in advance!
