Boom Comparison: FZ70 Vs. GF2
Boom Comparison: FZ70 Vs. GF2
Jul 2, 2014
Hi All,
I recently acquired a GF2 with a 14mm lens for a price almost too good to be true. Since I just couldn't say no I now have 5 Lumix cameras and am learning the GF2. I've traditionally gone the bridge camera route since I didn't want to get into buying more and more lenses.
The Civil War came to town last week, giving me a good opportunity to compare them head to head. This is a boom captured by the GF2 in the highest burst mode.

Here's a very comparable photo with my FZ70. Both shots are right from the camera.
FZ70 Boom
Obviously I like the 20mm low end of the FZ70 but the GF2 just seems to have more depth and texture. I find myself leaning more and more toward the GF2 even though extra lenses are a pain to carry around.
Other opinions? Recommendations?
