Re: Counterfeit Olympus BLN-1 batteries beware

I'm waiting until July 2 which is when eBay is making me wait till to have them review the case then will post the seller information once all that closes. The seller wrote that I can return for a full refund but I am not about to waste my time and money to ship them back this battery. eBay's policy states that for counterfeits you do not need to but have to wait to open the case.  Will see how that pans out.  Hoping I don't have to return it because I want to open the battery and see what is inside.  It feels as if the bottom half of the battery is completely empty and I am really curious.

The battery was only about $5 less than it would be purchased from a real retailer.  The seller had sold tons of these judging from their feedback and received all positives so figured I could save $5. I also have a real battery bought from B&H due for delivery on July 2 for another comparison of current packaging/labeling.  I emailed Olympus to let them know about it last week offering the persons information but they never responded so guessing they don't care.
