Re: Counterfeit Olympus BLN-1 batteries beware

Hi again

I contacted Olympus Au who just towed the party line

"Thank you for contacting Olympus Imaging Australia.

Ebay is not an authorised re-seller. An example of authorised re-sellers are Harvey Norman, Good Guys, Teds etc.

We will not be able to confirm the item you have purchased is counterfeit or not."

So if you buy a "genuine" battery from a non authorised seller then you have to assume it is counterfeit.

Anyway I've just sent the email to the seller asking for a full refund - note that I have to pay return postage.

Again as noted earlier - this was advertised as genuine.

We will see what happens.

Last night I dreamed I ate a ten kilo marshmallow, and when I woke up the pillow was gone.
