GH4 and 14-140 stabilization issue

Unlikely that the design is at fault. My 14-140 II worked perfectly with my GH3 and now does just fine with my GH4. There is no hint of the jitter I saw in the example you posted. I've owned my 14-140 II for a year now (purchased from Hong Kong before they were available in the U.S.) and I've found no issues with it; it has been my most used lens since last July.

Just see about replacing *your* lens.

Thanks a lot for your experiences with that lens. I have a trouble of replacing the lens because there are no lenses in Finland to replace. If I replace it now I must probably be without it the whole summer which is my best photographing season. It works fine with photos.

I must go to my dealer and ask what are my options. My GH4kit was a long wait too and one piece came about a month ago in my shop (biggest in Finland) and nobody knows when there will be more. I was the lucky one who got a GH4kit for this summer and now the lens is broken. How frustrating.

Thanks anyway. My biggest concern was that the lens is actually working normally and much worse than my older cheapest kit lens.

Sorry about that, Vesku. I didn't realize your location. Now I understand why you've been so persistent in ensuring that the lens *is* the issue. Did the 14-140 II come as part of a kit with the GH4? I sensed that was possible from the manual but I don't think that kit is available in the U.S. -- yet. Of course, already having the lens I've not paid the closest attention, but the only kit I've noticed is the one with that video recording-support device.
