The language in quotes in my post was a paraphrase, reflecting what I think was the overall message of the post. It is not that unusual to encounter someone who purchases a new camera, takes in on a trip or to an event or whatever and fails to return with pictures that meet their expectations and concludes the camera was inadequate when there may be other factors at work, though it is not often expressed in exactly that form, thus the "winking" emoticon. Even experienced photographers sometimes need time to adjust to a new system or camera.

In this case I believe you may have been too quick to blame the shutter shock issue, especially since you encountered the problem on at least some occasions outside of the normal shutter speed range for this issue. Of course another possibility is that there is some problem with a lens or the camera but since 2/3 of the photos did not display the problem this seems to suggest that it is a different issue.

The world of photo consumers is one of the prime examples I can think of where people often seek hardware solutions to "software" problems (and that includes me).

You're barking up the wrong tree.
