a user error.

As already pointed out, the camera can shake for multiple reasons. Based on what evidence do you rule out the other ones?

I know very well all about shutter bounce and mirror slap.

Good.

But these shutter shock posts make my blood boil.

Why?See below

Has not this horse been flogged to death enough over the last few months.

The fact that someone starts a thread on shutter shock does not force you to read it or respond to it. If the theme is not to your liking, why not look at other themes (there are plenty) or start your own thread about something you find interesting.

I have found the M43 format to be an extraordinary camera system. These small lightweight cameras I have found perfect for my needs.

For mine as well.

Like many others the problem of shutter vibration is not an issue.

For me it is, but I see no reason to be hysteric about it, particularly since it is not a problem restricted to MFT.

I think it is worth commenting, as from some of these posts and replies’ it seems that the M43 system is a defective system and should be avoided. I hate this misinformation that blows the problem out of all proportion.

I think it is more productive to say things to that effect (rather than what you initially said). I do not hesitate to do so myself, when I think things go a bit too far in that direction, latest here:
