GPS is a key feature for me. All my cameras has it and it's always on. Like the other Exif-Data, the place of the picture is important for me. Maybe not now, but maybe in 3, 5 or 15 years. If they are stored in the picture I can use them always if Not you never can bring it in.

If you are not familiar with GoogleErath, then you don't need GPS. With my viewer, one Click and I see the Position in GE, the surrounding, maybe new maps,3D images and much more.

If you are pixel keeper, then you don’t need GPS you are right.

On big travels, I always have a second GPS, to see every meter on GE. The last trip was 7900km in Southern Africa. But it not helps to see exactly here every picture was made.

I am waiting on the A99II and if there is no GPS, I and Sony will have a problem, but I still hope.
