P-Mpix at DxOMark

Like many, I am keenly awaiting news of the rumoured D810. So, I had a look at DxOMark to see how one of my existing lenses, the Nikon 70-200 F4G ED VRcompared on different Nikon bodies (sensors). To my knowledge, DxOMark are the only "site" offering this service.

At DxOMark, on my D600, this lens gets a "score" of 26, on the D800 it is "28" and on the D800E it rises to "31". Fair enough, this relativity does make sense IMHO.

But for DxOMark's "P-Mpix scores", it is a different story: D600 = 18, D800= 21 and the D800E = 30!

To me, this does not make sense... why is it so? Can anyone explain?
