How true! Lot of settings to adjust, change and work with to see if any one of them makes any difference to the shutter shock problem.

I fooled around with quite a few of those settings today ... including switching to "short" shutter lag.

If you decide in your final analysis to keep Release Lag-Time on Short be aware that this drains the battery more - about 50 shots more so have plenty of extra batteries if you're on a long shoot. Also it has been noted that this setting on the E-P5 causes additional overheating to both the battery and the card.

I'm anxious to hear what Olympus advises you.

The latter has improved things tremendously. A larger percentage of the images are sharp and, of those that do indicate shutter shock, the effect has been reduced in magnitude. The ghosting is there, but it's harder to see. I'm going to be working with other settings changes as the days go by and will let everyone know what more turns up ... if anything.

Thanks for your input.
