Should I sell 15-85mm f/3.5-5.6 and buy 18-135 IS STM?

Hi!

There's many helpful posts in this thead, I'd like to thank all of you for your comments!

It's a good point, that I would probably miss the wide end from the 15-85 after using it for a long time - and that also makes the decision quite difficult I can agree that it is a really good and versatile lens.

Also I was suprised when reading the reviews of the Canon 55-250 STM - it seems that it's better lens than I expected and the image quality is actually pretty good.

I haven't still decided, but now I'm leaning towards keeping the Canon 15-85 and buying the Canon 55-250 STM. Those two lenses together would deliver quite nice focal lenghts from 15mm wide to 250mm "super zoom class" for taking photos, and I think 55mm focal length would be OK for interview videos etc. And if I use external voice recorder like Zoom H1 further away from the camera, 15-85 would also be usable (even though not as good as 18-135 STM) when recording videos.

I think this setup would be quite nice for taking photos. There would be some compromises in the video department, but maybe this would be good enogh also for videos when considering the limited budget
